Submission by FIDU and TALI to the Committee of Ministers of the COE

The Italian Federation for Human Rights and the Arrested Lawyers Initiative made a joint submission to the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe on the implementation of the judgment of the European Court of Human Rights in Akgün v. Turkey (no. 19699/18).

The submission outlined Turkey’s failure to adopt general measures to prevent the recurrence of similar human rights infringements and recommended that the Committee of Ministers keep this case under monitoring.
