Turkey stuck in permanent state of emergency regime
On the occasion of #HumanRightsDay, The Arrested Lawyers Initiative opened online photography exhibit (“Turkey Under the State of Emergency”) to raise awareness about human rights violation have been lived in Turkey.
The 20 Members of Konya Bar Association Including Former President Kayacan were sentenced range to 2 and 11 years imprisonment
The 20 Members of Konya Bar Association were sentenced range to 2 and 11 years only because of doing their profession with integrity. So far, 59 Turkish lawyers were sentenced to long imprisonment.
DETENTION WARRANT ISSUED FOR THE 8 MEMBERS OF IZMIR BAR ASSOCIATION
Detention warrant issued for 8 lawyers in Izmir, 6 lawyers are presently under police custody in Izmir Police HQ.
Also 2 lawyers were arrested in Istanbul within scope of police operation against The Law Office of the Oppressed (EHB)
